Initially, with a price rise and now with a plethora of discontinued watches, Patek Philippe shocked their admirers with a major setback. Enthusiasts were still recovering from Patekâs decision to discontinue the Nautilus Ref. 5711 in 2021, and now another blow has come to sting the fans and collectors.
Many Patek favourites have yet again been taken off the shelf. Of course, models come and go, and this is done to make way for the brand’s new set of watches in the upcoming months, but this yearâs discontinuations made more noise than others. Find out the details here.
Patek Philippe Watches Officially Discontinued In 2025
The âNautilusâ Collection
- Patek Philippe Nautilus Moonphase Ref. 5712/1A-001
The beloved Nautilus Moonphase 5712/1A-001, which was released in 2006 to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Nautilus collection, is now gone. It seems that this is the end of an era.
Known for its somewhat unusual yet attractive design, the Ref. 5712/1A-001 featured a 40mm stainless steel case with a gradient blue dial and horizontal grooves. The self-winding Patek Calibre 240 micro-rotor movement powered complications like small seconds, a moon phase display and a power reserve indicator.
The âoddlyâ unique charm of the Nautilus Ref. 5712/1A-001 made it a favourite among collectors and connoisseurs. Having been in production for almost 20 years, the discontinuation of the Patek Philippe Nautilus Moonphase Ref. 5712/1A-001 definitely comes as a shocker.
- Patek Philippe Ladiesâ Nautilus Ref. 7118/1A-010 & Ref. 7118-1200A-010
Two of the ladiesâ Nautilus with references 7118/1A-010 and 7118-1200A-010 has been discontinued. One has a silvery opaline dial, and the other has a diamond-studded bezel.
The Nautilus Ref. 7118/1A-010, in steel without diamonds and a silvery opaline dial, was added to the Patek Philippe catalogue in 2017. The model offered a feminine take on one of the world’s most renowned luxury sports watches, blending rugged appeal with the Nautilus’s elegant aesthetics.
The other Patek Nautilus Ref. 7118-1200A-010 is the sparkly one with a diamond-set bezel. Crafted out of stainless steel, the diamond-set bezel asserts its presence on the wrist.
The Nautilus collection is widely loved by both men and women, so any change to the lineup is sure to stir the watch community.
- Patek Philippe âIced Outâ Nautilus Ref. 5719/10G-010
Seen on the wrists of some of the greatest names in Hollywood and hip-hop, the Patek Philippe Nautilus Ref. 5719/10G-010 is now discontinued. Popularly referred to as the âIced Outâ Nautilus for its alluring appeal, this exceptional watch seamlessly combined the iconic Nautilus design with the opulence of haute horology.
The Nautilus 5719/10G-010 is one of the most extreme gem-set watches designed by the brand. Imagine almost 1343 sparkling diamonds set across the bezel, dial and bracelet. And, now that this gem has been dropped from the catalogue, thereâs hardly any chance of seeing watches like this in the future, dazzling and sophisticated.
The âAquanautâ Collection
- Patek Philippe Aquanaut Ref. 5167/1A-001
In 2025, we bid goodbye to the âExtra Largeâ Aquanaut model with a steel bracelet while the collectionâs signature rubber strap continues to stay. The Aquanaut 5167/1A-001 was definitely a fan favourite with its casual, sporty, yet luxurious appearance.
The 5167/1A-001 was introduced in 2007 to celebrate the Aquanaut’s 10th anniversary. It first appeared with a rubber strap and was joined by the stainless steel bracelet version the following year. The watch presented a modern evolution to the Aquanaut series and, most specifically, appealed to enthusiasts with an active and contemporary lifestyle. Inside the steel case was a âTropicalâ embossed pattern dial with a date window, offering a sporty character compared to the traditional Patek models.
Removing the Aquanaut 5167/1A-001 makes sense as it helps to distinguish the Aquanaut from the Nautilus series.
The âGrand Complicationsâ Collection
- Patek Philippe Split-Seconds Chronograph Ref. 5370P-011
After being in production for only five years, the Patek Philippe Split-Seconds Chronograph 5370P-011’s journey comes to an end in 2025.
This remarkable timepiece sits at the top of the echelon of high-end horology, blending classic Patek Philippe aesthetics with exceptional technical prowess. The Patek Philippe Splits-Seconds Chronograph Ref. 5370P-011 looks stunning in a platinum case with a Grande Feu enamel dial. It combines two of the most complex and prized complicationsâthe Perpetual Calendar and the Split-Seconds Chronograph (Rattrapante).
As of 2025, there are no more 5370P models in the Maisonâs lineup.
- Patek Philippe Grand Complications Ref. 5208R-001
Originally launched in 2011 in platinum, the Patek Philippe Grand Complications 5208R-001 was replaced by a rose gold edition in 2018.
This astounding timepiece combines exceptional technical complexity with unmatched elegance. Additionally, the rose gold hue amplifies the modelâs grace. The dial is a stunning brown opaline with a subtle texture, presenting a beautiful contrast. The Patek Philippe Grand Complications Ref. 5208R-001 is considered one of the most expensive Patek creations, and now that it has been discontinued, we wonder what kind of complication will replace it.
The âTwenty~4â Collection
- Patek Philippe High Jewellery Twenty~4 Ref. 7300/1450R-001
The next watch on the list is the bejewelled Twenty4 Ref. 7300/1450R-001, a gorgeous example of the brandâs proficiency in designing womenâs watches that fuse elegance and modernity.
The model was released in 2020 and quickly became popular among women for its striking blend of sophistication, timeless luxury, and sportiness. This head-turning gem-set rose gold piece adorns a staggering 3238 diamonds, set using the âsnow-settingâ procedure.
Even with its luxurious appeal, this novelty was not excluded from the Patek Philippe discontinued 2025 watch list.
The âComplicationsâ Collection
- Patek Philippe Calatrava Pilot Travel Time Ref. 5524G
Patek Philippe took the watch world by storm when it released a pilotâs watch in 2015 â the Calatrava Pilot Time Ref. 5524G. The watch looked nothing like what was already available in the catalogue at that time.
Driving inspiration from a pair of vintage Patek hour-angle watches, the Ref. 5524G featured a 42mm 18ct white gold case with two pushers on the left, a winding crown on the right, day-night displays, a GMT hand and a date display.
Blending Patekâs legacy of fusing a classic design with modern functionality, intricate details and luxurious materials, this watch is a sophisticated companion for the discerning traveller. Well, now you probably have to explore the pre-owned market to grab one of these.
- Patek Philippe Annual Calendar Ref. 4947G-010
Introduced in 2017, the Patek Philippe Annual Calendar Ref. 4947G-010 was a real horological crowd-pleaser with diamonds set into the crown and case.
Fashioned in a sophisticated 18ct white gold case, the Patek Philippe Annual Calendar 4947G-010 is a new version of the ladiesâ Annual Calendar Ref. 4947. It features a silvery dial mimicking shantung silk. The case and crown are set with almost 141 diamonds, and a vibrant blue alligator strap provides maximum contrast.
The watch equips an annual calendar and a moonphase complication, showcasing the brandâs expertise in crafting watches with timeless appeal and advanced complications.
For now, this, too, has been wrapped off Patekâs current catalogue.
