How It Started?
The story of Omega dates back to 1848 when Louis Brandt, a 23-year-old boy, opened a quaint workshop in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland. Little did he know he was laying the foundations for a watchmaking empire.
After the demise of Louis Brandt, his sons Louis-Paul and Cesar, both passionate watchmakers, went ahead to shape his vision and brought the entire watch production facility under Omega’s roof, giving greater creative freedom to the artisans. This is the deepest diving watch of all time that travelled 10,928 metres below the ocean’s surface.
